Zambarano EUSS AR delay advice

Hello knowledgeable people. Need some guidance. Is there anything else I can do to expedite this 2 applications? My son is on palliative care and we hope to seek medical second opinion in Germany. The EUSS has all this new information from his various consultants
I applied in Aug 2019 for EUSS as Zambarano. Refusal in November 2020 (My LLR on 10 year route expired in May 2020) AR sent in December 2020 and received response that a decision will be made by 18/02/21 todate no more correspondence received. I was also advised to reapply on my 10 year route to maintain my legal immigration status. Thanks.
