So sorry Tope..
We all started together applied in June got COA in July and all that..

I posted earlier that I requested for just my daughters birth certificate and to my surprise in less than 3days they returned all
My 5years proof of residency back...

I had to post it back to where it came from..

Here is the address

Permanent Migration
The capital
Old HAll Street
Liverpool
L3 9PP.

That is where then case workers are @ and making decisions..

I had phoned them too to ask if they had received all the documents I sent back to them last week..
The acknowledged that and said there are so many applications I said no problem they should take their time all I know is by the time is 6months which is before Xmas this year they will answer me...

On the other hands I am saving up for my 2.5 renewal just in case...
Did you then send your daughter's birth certificate back to them again?

I called the resolution centre today in tears, and to my huge surprise they said there is a case note on my application that they sent a letter out dated 7th for me to send them documents showing my 5 years residence!
They issued me 5 years derivative residence which expired in May 2019!
When l sent my paper application l sent documents for each year to show residence for the last 5 years which included my daughter's British passport and her school report for every year for the last 5 years.
I was completely floored and couldn't stop crying. I sent my application in June.
This is starting all over again!
I understand your frustration my sister but pls take heart and put yourself together. Try and send them as much documents as you can lay yours hands on and hopefully you will get a response soon. We are all praying for you.

Yes I sent the birth certificate back all I needed it for was to show the nursery for placement for her.

I posted all back to them including their own plastic postal thing with the letter that even came with it that I should know that my application may be delayed because I have requested for some documents back..

Posted all back to them including 5years continuous residency and proof of relationship to the child which is the original birth certificate..
Fingers crossed and good luck to we all waiting...

Update

So l have the letter from the Home office and it's from the case worker, she requested for the documents forward to herself. She returned only my daughters' British passport and asked for;
"Evidence that you are both currently joint primary carers of the British citizen (my daughter) in the UK and have been for the last 5 years (this can be in the form of a GP letter, NHS letters, nursery letters, school letters, child trust fund letters, child benefit letters etc)
The evidence must demonstrate that you both live with your child as a family unit and that you are jointly responsible for her care".

I have sent all of the above, NHS letter, letters from school for the last 5 years, child tax credit letter dated 2014, child trust fund letters, her personal bank statements showing we live at the same address and her National insurance no that's only recently sent.

I sent this now, next day delivery with a cover letter to the case worker pleading for a quick decision.

So fingers crossed.

They refused back in 2014, because they said I've not shown enough evidence. And so l applied again, gave a heck of evidence and wrote a letter of reconsideration. Then they gave me and my hubby the derivative residence.
Me and my hubby had no status back then.

Please don't waste your time applying for dfr1. They will refuse it, so just concentrate on the EU settlement scheme as a Zambrano carer and with the right evidence you will be accepted.
Good luck to you and all of us here waiting for swift response from our respective caseworkers.

Good luck my sister.. I know its irritating but remember God is control. It pays to wait. Its better to wait for your indefinite that to rush them to give you 5years pre-settled... It is well

I just received a call from HO a caseworker advising me that me and my partner only qualifies for pre-settle since we became a British citizen child carer from March 2018 ( Which I agreed). He told me a we can reapply for settled status in March 2023 God willing. I didn't argue so I told him to deal with quickly for us since we need our passports for other things.
NB: we have a Derivative residence card since July 2018.
Fingers crossed we will hear from them soon.

Yes it was a private number, I am someone who doesn't pick unknown numbers. He called first but I didn't pick it and he called my wife but she was asleep since she worked at night.
I felt that call was coming from them and luckily for me he called again and I finally picked it. He asked me if I am Mr ... and he introduced himself as caseworker from UKVI and he was going through our applications but realised I applied for EU Settled but I don't qualify since my son became a British in 2018. She he advised me they can give me a 5 year pre-settled visa until my March 2023 when I do qualify for the settlement so he is asking for my permission to change that option on my form before he can make a decision and he stated he is ok with our evidence so all that they need now is to contact me first.

Yes I did, that's why he called me to give him my consent before he can make amendments. He explained to me well and I knew everything he was saying but I was just trying my luck if they can give us settled status. 😀

Thanks for your reply, I don’t pick up private numbers or numbers I don’t know period. I may have missed a call from them smh. But I regularly call the EU settlement centre for update so I would have been told if they needed anything from me. Hopefully you get granted as soon as possible.
