Eea1 with only EHIC ( European health card)

Hey Guys,

Can I get the eea1 applying with only EHIC but not Conprehensive sickness insurance card?

We currently don't have a UK bank account and it seems I can't pay the CSI with a French card.

It says on the forum we need a cover letter if I apply only with HIC that I'm here temporarily,like ,' I will see how things go ?'

We will get the insurance once opened a uk account in a week or two then my partner will get the CSI then apply for eea2.

So do I really need the CSI for my EEA1?
