EEA2 Application applied July 2012 need to travel urgent

Hi,

I'm Non-EEA national, my wife is Romanian.
we applied for EEA2 RC on 25/07/2012 already passed 5 months
We received certificate of application on 16/10/2012
we needs to travel urgent, so we asked our passports back (email 26/12/2012) and we would like to know is there any chances to get RC along with passport or we need to come back and submit our passports again?plz reply if smone familiar with this situation.Thank you

Family members of Romanian Nationals should fill form BR5. Filling EEA 2, may lead to unnecessary delays.

Thank you for your reply,sorry it was a mistake actually we applied application BR1 and BR5 and we need to travel urgent and we requested for our passport.is there chances to get RC along with passport or we need to come back n wait more?

This is a festive period, and Homeoffice don't return to normal service until the new year, so i will advice that you exercise some patient.

It would have been sensible to request the return of your travel documents before Christmas.

I am a non EU member married to a Romanian i got to into the UK with a code 1A visa and i made the residence applicaton with the EEA2 application, and i just read on this forum some where that i was suppose to use the BR5 or so. Can some one tell me or share with me what will be the out come of such. Please.
