EEA2 direct family member: address on marriage certificate

Post by alex172 » Tue Nov 03, 2015 5:48 am

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of finalising my application for a Residence Card as the spouse of a French citizen who is working in London. The only slight inconsistency I have is that on our marriage certificate we used my wife's parent's address as her address (in order to get married in France you need a local address) even though she was living in London at the time.

Does anyone know if this will cause problems for my application? I have considered adding a statement from my wife explaining that the address used was her parents as we needed a local address. Or I am better off not drawing attention to it? Apart from that address, everything else in te marriage certificate/Application appears fine.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks
