Hi Everyone.
I submitted my Resident Card application just couple of weeks ago (11/02/2016) through an Immigration Solicitor based on unmarried partner of an EU citizen that is currently exercising treaty right here for more than 5 years and me and my partner been living together for 2 and half years. Also, I have overstayed my student visa due to a financial reason and I could not complete my University studies.
1)From your experience based on my circumstances what are my chances for obtaining my resident card successfully?
2) I would like to study again after my RC, will I be eligible for Home Student Fees and can I apply for a student loan. I have been residing in the UK since 2009.
Thank you in advance for your reply.

1) Depends if you fully meet all the requirements & your supporting evidence is up to scratch.
2) Maybe, see
http://www.ukcisa.org.uk/Information--A ... s-entitled
You may have issues if you have received any support before &/or if your main purpose for previous residence in UK was to study.
You will need to dig into those matters with UK CISA.

Hi, Thank you for your reply.
We have all the documents in order for two and half years consisting of letters , Bills , tenancy agreement addressed and named individually and also joint ( same address) . According to my lawyer the documents we provide is suffiecient and also my partner works full time earning over 25k/year ( we have provided her 5 months payslips and bank statements corresponds to her wages.
I never finished my studies and I have never claimed any kind of support in the UK.

Just an update guys,
I have received couple of letter from HO today requesting my Biometric Enrolment and a COA ( with no right to work)
And it all depends on the outcome of the application reason given ; " This is because you have not provided original
documentation for all of the followings" ;-
1) current identity documents ( passport) expired- When i submitted the application the passport expiry date was due couple of days and I was advised by my solicitor not to bother with renewing ?
2) evidence of relationship with your EEA national sponsor.
It also says we will consider your application and we may contact you for some additional evidence.
Please comment anyone if this standard for everyone applying unmarried EEA2 route or I am missing something?
Thanks!
