EEA2 Sponsor change of passport question

I applied for an EEA2 visa from within the UK at the end of August 2008. We were married at the beginning of August and when we applied my wife who is the EU national had not updated her name in her passport to my last name. For family reasons we requested our passports back so we could travel to my wife's home. We are now in her home country and she would like to change her passport to have my last name. Will this mean that we will have to reapply for the EEA2 visa or will everything go ahead as normal since I am the one receiving the endorsement in my visa? Obviously if we need to reapply then we will have to reconsider getting a new passport with the updated last name. Thanks for any advice in advance.

Everything will go ahead as normal. No need to re-apply.
