EEA4 can anyone help please

Hello, All the informations were helpful thanks, can anyone help me with my 2 questions please.

1. For EEA4 applications under retintion of right the continuous residence starts from when?

Is it the time when A8 countries EEA national register under WRS (2006)
or
the time when Non EEA (me) receive resident card (2008)

My second question is-
if EEA national did not work 4/5 months due to child birth just besore registring WRS(2006), can this period be added with in the contiouous residence as temporarily incapacitated, if so is comprehensive sickness cover necessary for this period.
