EEA4 obtained then EEA3? and without supporting documents?

Post by zebrafishbone » Tue Oct 28, 2014 10:41 pm

Hello all,

I have a question. Although it may not make sense but my EEA husband did not apply for PR while I submitted my EEA4 as we didn't think it's necessary for him and there is no gain for that. But now, I have received my PR after my refused EEA4 application but won the appeal. I want my EEA husband to apply for the PR too just in case for future.

Do you think he should submit all the documents as those I submitted for my EEA. one of the reasons why my EEA application was refused was about a medical letter that was proving his temporary incapacity. But that letter was written by his doctor specifically for application. Do you think I can use that? OR can I write a covering letter telling them to refer to my file as my PR status was acquired due to my EEA husband's PR status.

I need to do the application asap as his national ID is expiring in 18/11; by no means he would let me post his passport and he has to travel alot for business purpose!!!!

Please advise!
