Effect of Company Circumstance on ILR application

Hi All,

I am looking for some advice on my ILR application.

I have a Tier 2 Visa sponsored by my company and I am due to apply for ILR based on the 5 years qualifying period.

My company recently changed from a partnership to a limited liability company (LTD) with the partners now becoming directors (all other things remaining the same) and they have informed the Home office of their change in circumstance and my employment was transferred to the LTD company under the TUPE arrangement.

The HO has informed them that it takes up to 18weeks for them to respond to their change in circumstance by which time my Tier 2 would have expired.

Can I still proceed with my ILR application and how will this be affected by my company's change?
