Electronic Signature for Irish Employment Permjt

Post by grogbog » Tue Aug 27, 2024 11:36 pm

Hi there

Just wanted to confirm whether or not an electronic signature (from DocuSign) would be eligible for submission for the Critical Skills Employment Permit?

It does ask for an original signature, so I’m kicking myself if that’s the thing that knocks the submission back.

Should I need to appeal, would just providing a wet signature be appropriate, or would an entirely new submission be required?

Many thanks

I had it with an electronic signature a few years back. Turned out to be okay at least in my case.

Glad to hear it turned out ok. Yeah everything else is perfect, I’d hate to have mess anything up.

And of course, just seeking anecdotal evidence regarding submissions with e-signatures, as I’m just unsure regarding how they’re interpreting what an original signature is and if they literally meant a wet signature.
