Email after biometrics

Should I expect any email from homeoffice/ukvi regarding my application after biometrics.

The only email I’ve received is from Ukvcas informing me that my biometrics /documents Have been sent.

When I extended my leave back in January, post biometrics I only received an email stating my application was successful and BRPs would be sent out
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.
