it said "I can confirm that a decision has been made regarding your application. It
is now in the final stages of processing. Your decision letter and original
documents will be sent out to you once this process is complete. I will not
give you a time frame because it would only be an estimate"

Spunk,
Did you asked them about expected date of receiving documents/appoval letter?
I was told by them that my docs are still waiting to be despatched (after one week of decision).
Please follow-up.

No spunk, Ordinary first class mails cannot be tracked. I used to send mails to india in ordinary post, will reach normally in 6-10 days. If they had sent the docs and letter with some tracking number, you can track with
www.royalmail.com.
You have to wait patiently and hope for the best. Waited for almost 3.5 months and another 6-8 days..
All the best spunk

Hi spunk,
Nice to see you. I'm from China and I'm in UK now. Still waiting for approval.
Airmail to China will take about 1 week in my experience.

the new email said "we do not have a email number but mail can take as long
as 6/8 weeks to arrive in china due to the size of some of the packages. if
you have not received anything by 8 weeks please do not hesitate to contact
us."

In this sense, I think you'd better focus on other things during this period. It seems to be possible for the delay of mail as my documents by special delivery (which royal mail guarantees to deliver within one day) took 13 days to arrive. Most probably it will turn out when you least expect it.
Good Luck!
