employed by a relative - case worker phone call

Hi All,

i've recently made an application for HSMP. I have a masters degree in the UK and am on SEGS visa since last 1 year.

I am employed by my sister who has an established business as an IT consultant.. we both work from home hence the company address and my residential address is the same.

I've claimed 15 points for my salary working as an IT project manager for her company.

Just within 3-4 days of making an application we got a call from a case worker talking to my sister asking about the credentials of the company and verifying various details about my empolyment.

If I have proof of income verified through bank statements,salary slips, employers letter and partial p60 (covering upto april) would they still raise issues on the basis that my sister has employed me and hence the credibility of my salary scale.

If it is legitimate employment there still shouldn't be a problem. I guess it depends if they believed your sister or not.

Wow that was fast! What questions did they ask your sister exactly?
