Employee name change

thanks everyone on this forum who shares their views, it helps alot

one of my employees changed her surname due to marriage and provided me the passport copy to confirm change. now P60 has got old name ( which is fine coz her name changed after that tax year) but P11 for last 3 months of that year has got the new name. will that be an issue ??
P.s ; i will be providing HO both copies of passports

Her national Insurance number does not change. You simply have to provide both copies and explain on the covering letter that your employee changed her name from x/y/z date. HO has the records of name changes as they issued the passports in the first place. Not a big issue really
