Dear Immigration board members,
Hope you are well.
I have 3 questions.
(1) I was issued a 2 year BRP - tier 2 visa in August 2017 due to expire in August 2019. My first year involved working in one city and 2nd year involved working in the other city. i.e finishing work in one city on 31st July and reporting on 1st Aug in the other city for work.
I took some annual leave at the end of first year and sent an email to HR of the other city in March 2018 (three months in advance) that I would like the first 5 days of my 2nd year which will start on 1st aug, 2018 as annual leave. The HR initially agreed and then, forgot to mention my leave while making the rota/schedule. When I came back after my annual leave from abroad, I found out about it. I did provide the evidence but in the end, they put my starting date for 2nd year as 8th August, 2018. How do I explain this period of 8 days in my ILR application? as Period of unemployment? What justification should I give? Do I need any special letter or anything from the Employer?
2) I had an accident involved pedestrians. No injuries reported at the time of accident. I exchanged all my info and did everything lawfully. After a few days, I received a letter from Police about interviewing me (all my details were wrong). I was interviewed at my own residence. After few weeks, I received 2 letters from police Letter 1 said that I should attend Driver Awareness Course (no points - no fine) or if I don't want to, then, I must appear in a court with my lawyer. In letter 2, they attached mine + victim + witness interview/statements so that if I want to go to the court, I should have all the statements for my lawyer etc. I, obviously, attended driver awareness course. I would like to be as transparent as possible with home office.
So, in my ILR application, should I provide the home office letter 1 or both letters?
3) I was fined 100 pounds for late submission of self assessment tax return. Once I submitted it, I received money back from HMRC. Do I need to mention this fine in ILR application as well?
I would really appreciate the help.
Warm regards,
