How did you deal with this catch-22?; Universal jobmatch

1. You need (to prove) the legal right to work to get a job; you need a job to be afforded the legal right to work.

How did you deal with that situation?

Did you still send out applications?

When called to interviews? Did you go?

What did you do?

Any success stories? (Btw, I'm not referring to jobs that are on the shortage occupation list; such jobs do not have a RLMT requirement and therefore, they're more or less "easy" to get into, ceteris paribus).

2. RE: universal jobmatch (UJ); the RLMT requirements state that the job must be advertised on there, as well as on another medium. Did you get your job through a posting you saw on UJ? Did you use UJ?
