One person with Tier 2 ICt and Tier 2 General visa

Hi,

I am in UK with tier2 ICT granted in 2009.
Now I am switching to Tier2 general thru a diff sponsor.

My question
--------------
1. after getting COS from the new sponsor,If I decided not to go for Tier 2 G,and continue to Tier2 ICT which I am already having,Is it possible? or do I need to do anything at this point in order to continue in ICT itself?

2.If I recieved Tier 2 General Visa stamped in my passport,At this time I am deciding,not to go with Tier 2 general and planning to continue with Tier 2 ICt which I am already having,Is it posssible or granting of Tier2 G,will automatically cancel ICT visa?
