I have a tier 2 (General) leave to enter which I am going to extend soon.
For my previous application I have provided an evidence that I meet the english language requirements at the level A1 (that was the minimal requirement at the time). Currently they want B1 as a minimal level.
From the guidlines it is not 100% percent clear to me whether I have to provide a new evedence for the higher level B1.
I am confused by the following text:
"
You currently have, or were last granted, leave as a Tier 2 Migrant and you have succesfully met the English language requirement in that application;
or
You have, or last had, entry clearance, leave to enter or leave to remain as a tier 2 Migrant under the Rules in place before 6 April 2011, excluding Intra company Transfers extending beyond three years;
"
It seems like I fit in the the second category and do not have to provide any sertificats again.
Still, the rules are written in such way that I never feel confident.
I would appreciate if someone could confirm that.
