English language test for FLR(M) spouse application

Hi
I understand spouses need to pass A1 level test to qualify for FLR(M) visa application. I phoned approved institutes and they are asking £150 test fees. Please share your experiences is there any cheap options available....

MN1 application via NCS = 2nd March 2011
