english requirement for dependant

Hi
my husband is applying for ilr in January 2015. iam also applying as a dependant. my husband has degree from uk so he do not need any other English exam certificate. however I have taken IELTS exam in April 2013 academic and scored 6 bands in all sections. please advise if IELTS certificate is valid for English requirement.

Ielts certificate valid for 2 Years you did it in April 2013 so if you are applying in Jan 2015 shouldn't be any problem.

WE ARE COMPLETEING SET O form but i can not find any where it says IELTS is a valid cerificate.
also please can you confirm if band 6 in general is ok to submit as ILR dependant.

please send any link if you have to confirm this.
