Before you apply for citizenship, you will need to show that you have moved up from one ESOL level to the next. You will need to provide evidence of this as part of your application.
It says quite clearly on the website that, if you take the ESOL+citizenship classes, you will need to move from one level to the next in order to apply for naturalisation. So, if the OP obtained ILR with level 1, s/he needs to have level 2 for naturalisation.Casa wrote:If it was accepted for ILR (the same requirements for ESOL), that will be sufficient for BC application. i.e definately doesn't need to be taken again.
