First of all hi to everyone on the forum. Apologies if posted in the wrong place I'm a first time poster.
I'm looking for a bit of advice - I'm in the process of completing thr Flr form for my wife. Her initial spouse visa comes to an end soon and I'm really confused with regards to the new English test requirement. My wife has a bulats test accepted on her initial visa 2.5 years ago. My reading of the form along with the guidance notes and section 32 would suggest that it's valid for her Flr as it's previously been accepted. However, some concerns have been raised if this is really the case. I phoned the Ukvi today for some guidance. The first person spoke to advised the bulats would still be accepted however at the end of the conversation he said the Esol exams were no longer accepted for FLR. It didn't dawn on me until afterwards that they are same. I phoned back and spoke to another agent who advised they would only accept from the new list of providers. When I pointed these seems different from the guidance notes, form and section 32 he wouldn't comment. Any advice would be appreciated on what is right...be great to hear from anyone who has applied since the changes on the 5th. Thanks
