English tests taken after 6 April 2013

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... -tests.pdf says no documents required for tests such as Cambridge English Preliminary English Test taken after 6 April 2013, but scores must be verified using the Cambridge English online system using name, date of birth and passport number. What does that mean? If I don't submit any document such as the certificate or provide any information such as the ID and secret numbers, how will the UKBA check my test result?
