Re-entering UK for short business meeting (Living outside of UK for more than 2 years after ILR)

Hi,

I am an Indian and received my ILR in 2014. At the end of 2014, I left UK for personal reasons and never went back. I now need to re-enter UK for a short business meeting. I have no intention of staying back in the UK and will be there only for 4 to 5 days. Have you come across such scenario before? Which visa shall I apply for? If I apply for a business visa then will there be any issues or will my ILR be nullified?

Well your ILR has been lost as you spent more than 2 years away. There is also no business visa category.
You must apply for a standard visitor visa and being granted that, you should have no issues visiting
