Entering with Tier 1 (general) migrant

Post by nasty » Wed Sep 29, 2010 5:27 am

Hi All,

This is my first post to this forum. My Tier 1 (general) Migrant visa application was approved in Oct 2009 and valid till Oct 2012.

I am currently working in US, want to enter UK in search of opportunities this year. My brother lives there, so I have temporary accommodation.

My question is,

will there be any questions at the port of entry, do I have to provide proofs for all the points mentioned in PBS at the port of entry too? ( you can see my concern here regarding maintenance funds, like showing past 6 months of statements not going less than the required amount)

Thanks in advance!

If you have a Visa, you are good to enter the country on any date.

Why would you think that you again need to prove them the credentials of your already stamped Visa?

If that would be the case, people would not get the Visa in the first place and get it at the Port of entry itself
Thanks,
Sumit.
