entry clearance from another country?

entry clearance from another country?

hi.
is it all right to apply for hsmp approval from one country; and then apply for entry clearance from another?
i ask because i might need to move away from my current country; and may have to apply for EC from another.

As far as i know you have to be resident of that country to apply for EC, so if you are resident of the country you moving to then it should not be a problem
