Uk Entry Refusal

Post by Aidanmccarthy » Sun Apr 01, 2007 11:38 am

Hi, a friend of mine from the US has recently been refused entry to the UK on her passport because she said that she would be working (Online and employed by an American) without a work permit or Visa. I understand that this is not possible but would like to know if this will affect her application for a visitors visa and if she is likely to be refused again. Also if a Visa or Entry clearance (I'm not sure of the difference) will guarantee her entry or almost assure her of it? Thanks for your help, Aidan

She should aply for a visa from the British emabssy the next time she plans to visit the UK. This will almost guarantee her entry. It'll be too risky otherwise with a recent refusal.
