EU1 form and temp stamp 4 for visiting uk???

Post by marwat » Sat Aug 08, 2015 1:52 am

Hi
So im british citizen working in northern ireland but living in letterkeny. My non eu spouse applied under eu directive got a short stay c visa for around 3 months. Expiring in 3 weeks. We sent off a eu1 form last week. Now question is will we get temporary stamp before her visa expires and if not then what happens?
We have receipt of PRTB registration..i have payslips and bank account statements. I am contracting paid per hour. I have reached 20000 pound gross income in three months. I think i.qualify for uk spouse visa under cat b. So i dont know what would be best. To apply from ireland once she gets temp stamp 4 or travel to uk with it and apply for uk spouse visa or eea2 permit.
If we want to travel to uk would it be best to go belfast and ferry to uk. Is it allowed

Dear marwat,

Yes you will probably receive your wife's 6 months temporary stamp 4 letter in couple of week but you do not need to worry about her visa is expiring because you already sent the EU1 form and since you sent the eu1 form your wife is in connection with INIS, nothing will happen even her visa expires and did not receive the temporary stamp.

Your income is qualify for UK spouse visa but many people doesn't like to got through it because UKBA processing time takes more than 6 months and intentionally refuse the visa or keep requesting to send more evidence you know?! now what you have to do is once you get her temporary stamp 4 you could apply for EEA family permit UK which will give her 6 months visa or you can travel to UK with it and apply for the EEA2. When you travel to UK with stamp 4 the immigration officers will examine her or maybe ask for the visa but you have to explain EU law and everything to them, sometimes what they do worst is put her in a flight back to her country so please make sure you have every documents perfectly and prove them the centre of life in Ireland.
Stay blessed
