British Citizen Moving to sweden

Post by olabelfast » Sun Sep 22, 2019 8:36 pm

Am a British citizen who want to move to Sweden or Ireland. How easy to get the EU Residence card from both countries.

I will like to know which of the country is easier to register.

Both are EEA countries. There shouldn't be massive differences for a British passport holder to live in either of these countries.

However, the Brexit may affect your rights.

Based on freedom of movement in EU/EEA you do not need a residence card. You already have a 'right of residence' simply by being an EU citizen. However if your family members are non EU/EEA citizens then they may need to have residence cards.
These two readings my get you the answers. Ireland and Sweden
