Brother in Netherlands-- can my uncle and his family apply for citizenship

i have an uncle whose brother who changed religion is citizen of netherlands holland / can my uncle along with his spouse and children apply for netherlands citizenship ?
he changed religion but remains legal brother of brother.

I don't fully understand the question. But I give you some elements:

- In most European / Western countries, religion and citizenship are two different things and have nothing to do with each other.

- If a person acquires the citizenship of a country, this often means his wife and children can also apply for it. But other people such as brothers, cousins, parents... cannot get that citizenship unless they also go through the entire immigration cycle and qualify under their own right.

- The brother of your uncle is also your uncle
