Can entry refusal from a non-schengen EU country affect future entry to other EU Schengen countries?

If someone was refused entry to a non Schengen EU country (eg. Ireland) would that affect them trying to enter another EU Schengen country in the future?

That will likely depend on the reason for refusal.

Also, ireland is a Schengen visa country. They have their own visa system.

Perhaps you meant EU country?
