Irish ancestry of husband

Post by krash » Sun Apr 11, 2004 8:05 am

My husband's grandfather was Irish. Is it possible for me to apply for an Irish residency/passport?
My husband is not interested in applying. Is it possible for me to apply?

I personally don't think any ancestry citizenship rights are passed on to the grandchildren's spouses, but you can always inquire by e-mail with the nearest Irish consulate.
