Irish Nationality for EU Citizen

Post by SimonBlack » Mon Apr 19, 2004 12:03 pm

Hi there,
I am a Non-EU Citizen on work permit in UK, and i am planning to marry my girlfriend who is in Ireland and is an EU Citizen, i have the following questions:
# Can i get permission to reside in Ireland, due to her being a EU Citizen, after marriage?
# Can we apply for Naturalization after marriage? what is the process
# How can we get Irish Nationality
# I have read on this
"EU citizens and their family members who have lived in a host member state for four years will automatically be entitled to permanent rights of residence under a new EU proposal. "
on the URL:
http://www.eupolitix.com/EN/Legislation ... 19b665.htm, IS this True???

Thanks in Advance for your advice.
Regards
Simon
