Post by sparrace42 » Sat Feb 02, 2019 8:57 pm

I hold UK BRP and is valid until Nov'19 , My question as below -:

1. I am in UK from Nov'19 when i can apply for schengen ?
2. What documents I require as I am Indian citizen
3. what type of visa we get normally and how many day's it stays valid
4.I want to go to france , If i get schengen visa am I allowed to use same visa and travel to other EU countries?
5.How much funds i need to show for schengen
6.Authentic website to apply for schengen visa for france
7.Can i get 6 months multi entry visa ?
6.Where i need to go to apply for schengen

My questions may be basic but i request experts to answer point wise as I need your help understanding process as I am planning to travel in mid of april'19

https://fr.tlscontact.com/gb/lon/index.php

You can apply up to 90 days before your planned travel date.
Your passport / BRP need to have 90 days validity before your visit.

Documents are listed on the webpage linked above.

For a visit you will get a visit visa. Its validity will depend on what you want to do, how long you want to stay, and on the embassy's own decision.

If you get a Schengen visa from France you can also visit other Schengen countries.

There is no set limit for "funds to show". You need to be able to support your self and your travel.

Schengen visas are not like UK visas. You may or may not be given a 6 month visa.

While applying for schengen Tourist visa I had noticed that getting the appointment at TLC Contact is a major task and it takes at least 1 month before we get it. Can any one please let me know is there any other way to get the visa a bit early? Does TLC Contact have any premium service at affordable price :) ..

Not that I know of. Your best bet is to get the visa from another country.
