Evidence of no intent to marry

Post by catwoman » Mon Sep 05, 2011 1:24 pm

My fiance and I are thinkning we should apply for a visit visa. How does he prove he has no intention to marry me in the UK during this visit? The reason we are not jumping straight in to ask for a fiance visa atm is that we are not confident it will be granted.

Obviously it may be best not to disclose that we are engaged but apart from that I'm a bit stumped. Any thoughts please :?:

He will need to show exceptionally strong reasons for returning to his home country...evidence of permanent employment with a letter from the employer guaranteeing his position will be kept open for him...or ownership of property...full time education..strong family ties.
If you don't disclose the full facts of your relationship now, you will be digging yourself into a hole for a fiance/settlement visa application in the future. All information is held on computer records.
