eVisa and ILR

Post by chloelim1996 » Tue Aug 13, 2024 10:13 pm

Hi

I am hoping that I posted on the right forum. I just wanted to double check on this

Whilst completing my ILR application, there is a question about BRP details. I currently do not have a BRP card as this was switched to eVISA 2 years ago. Do I put 'no' to the below question?

-----

Biometric residence permit details
Are you able to provide a biometric residence permit (BRP) card with this application? No, I do not have a BRP for my most recent leave

Do you have a BRP from a previous stay in the UK? Yes

Can you provide this with your application?Yes

From your outline above your responses appears correct.

Thank you for your reply. I have submitted my application and reach the document submission stage

Evidence of immigration status in the UK is required.

Since I don't have the BRP physical card, what do I submit here?

Thanks!

The evisa contains or serves as evidence of your immigration status in UK hence when fully rolled out airlines are to accept it and allow holders to board aircrafts to UK.
