EVisa Confirmation

Hi All,

I have successfully switched my visa status from a student visa to a new entrant visa for four years. I received an email confirming the approval, but I am still awaiting my BRP (Biometric Residence Permit).

Additionally, I submitted an application to link my passport to my eVisa three days ago, but I have not yet received a confirmation. As I have some upcoming business travel, I wanted to ask whether it’s possible to leave the UK before receiving the eVisa confirmation. Since BRP is invalid starting next year, could there be any issues when I return in January?

I don't think anything stops you from leaving the country.

Yes. UKVI can mess up your status (like here, for example) or any other unforseen issue could arise.
I would wait for BRP and return before it expires, if possible, so there's a guarantee for you to return to UK.
