UK Experience

Post by praneel » Sat Feb 28, 2009 8:22 pm

I have 2 questions in applying UK tier 1 visa.

1. I worked in UK for nearly 1 yr. But now I am working in USA. So in the points calculator for UK Qualification or UK Work Experience, should I put that I have UK experience or not?

2. Is it enough if I get the approval from UK Nariac for my language qualification or do I need to take IELTS for anything?

Thanks.

Answer: You can claim 5 points for UK experience if you have successfully scored points for previous earnings and those earnings were made in the United Kingdom.

2. Is it enough if I get the approval from UK Nariac for my language qualification or do I need to take IELTS for anything?

Answer: If the self assessmnt is allowing you to select your degree for language requirement then you do not need anything otherwise you will need nariac letter, you do not need IELTS if your degree was taught in english and a letter is provided.

hope it helps :-)
