Expired BRC and Settled Status

Hi everyone,

I hope you all are doing well. I'm reaching out because I'm in a bit of a situation and could really use some advice.

My Biometric Residence Card (BRC) has recently expired, and I'm now looking to apply for settled status. I called the EU Resolution Centre for guidance, and they advised me to first get a replacement BRC before applying for settled status.

Has anyone here been through a similar process? If so, could you please share how you went about applying for a replacement BRC? Any tips on the documents required, the application process, or any potential pitfalls to avoid would be greatly appreciated.
