Expired IELTS

Post by khan1990 » Tue Mar 29, 2016 10:29 pm

Hi all

I should be grateful if someone would provide me with some guidance.

My wife (from Pakistan) took the IELTS test (General Training) on 17 November 2012 and passed. She subsequently applied for a spousal visa, which was accepted. She now has her first renewal approaching and I am slightly confused about the new rules on the English test requirement.

Does she now have to sit another test (A1 - only to pass this visa application or B1 to pass this visa application and then also ILR, when the time comes)?

I do not know if it makes a difference, but she took the test at an approved SELT test centre as per:

I look forward to any responses.

Kind regards

Khan
