Hi All,
Hopefully someone can help with a situation we are in, that I'm sure isn't 100% unusual and might be the case with others too - yet I can't find any posts that talk about this.
In any case, my wife and I (who are expecting a child in Feb 2022, not sure it will have any direct impact on the application apart from having an additional fee to pay due to extra dependents, correct me if I'm wrong) are looking to extend the spouse visa (FLR M). However one of the requirements being to prove cohabitation might be a little tricky for us.
We are currently still living with my family where my mum takes the responsibility to pay the bills except for the water bill that's in my name. In this time my wife, who is a housewife, has not got much in her name except for her NHS letters that come through. Issue there is that without taking much consideration over the 2.5 years she's been here, we haven't got many of them left as they got chucked out. We share all details with each other and found no need to have a joint account to date.
So I guess all we can do in terms of letters on my wife's side is to provide what we have. For my part I also probably haven't got much physically through the door but seeing another post today about the same topic, he used some e-bills and just printed them off, where someone replied that would be fine.
Summary
- will the few NHS letters we have be enough proof?
- what other information can we submit to prove this?
- due to C19, my work has been fully remote, therefore we have been at home all the time bar a trip, when restrictions relaxed, to Lake District
In other sides we can comfortably answer our need to stay in the UK and all other supporting evidence should be easily possible.
