Extension of biometric submission limit - Tier 2 dependent

Hi guys

My wife’s tier 2 dependent visa expired in July. We applied for the extension but haven’t been able to go for biometric appointment yet as she is pregnant and due to various medical reasons she couldn’t travel. We finally booked the appointment for this coming weekend but the doctors have told us they will admit my wife during this week for an early delivery. The final date to submit the biometrics is end of August but I’m not sure she will be in a condition to go so soon after her delivery.

Does someone know if extending the biometrics submission beyond 60 days is possible?

Would be really greatful if any of the moderators or someone who has experience of extending biometrics dates are able to help.
