1. Can i apply for extension from outside UK or only inside is accepted?
2.I got HSMP under transitional arrangements in Jan 2009 and expiring on Jan 2012 havent travelled yet to UK. I will turn 31 in November 2010 so what shoul isd be the time to apply in order to gain points for age??
3. What is the fee for extension application?
4.What is the maintenance requirement for applicant and 1 dependent?
5.What kind of job is required for extension ( odd jobs or professional)?
6.Is tier1 point calculator used for extension or some other points are used?
7.How many points are eligible for extension application?
8.What is the best cheaper/quicker way to apply for extension (post,in person etc)?
9.How long do they take for approving/declining extension?
10.What kind of supporting funds are required for extension?
11.I had submitted IELTS result for english language at the time of my HSMP application submission. Do they require new result or old is sufficient?

Unless you live in the UK, the question of "extension of stay" is irrelevant.

Also, you haven't yet entered UK and asking about extension which probably is due in 2 or 3 years time. No one (not even UKBA) can guess the answers to your queries - waiting time, the rules, fees, qualifying criteria etc. etc. - 2-3 years in advance. Think, are your questions any relevant at this stage?

I need help with below extension question. i applied for HSMP in Feb 2008 and receievd my HSMP approval letter in April 2008. so what date am i supposed to enter here. i don understand the help answer to this question. If i enter 18 feb 2008 it does not accept that date. what to do??

I am not a fan of PBS calculator as PBS calculator is riddled with design flaws (IMHO) and is not the law! Suggest you refer to the policy guidance before trying your luck with PBS calculator.
