Extension Query

Please let me know procedure of extending my student visa as i will be waiting for my result. Please let me know the funds requirement and for how long i need to keep hold of funds in my account and what supporting docs i need to send.
I am looking at maximum extension of 2 months. I want to switch to PSW once i have the degree.

I got my passport very late and had to join a session which started 4 months later. So this took out the additional time out of the equation.
