Extension request posted!

I have just posted my FLR(IED) and hope to get it back very soon - though with the Easter holiday weekend it may take a bit longer. I included:

- FLR(IED) form
- passport and two passport photos
- original HSMP approval letter
- employment offer letter, contract, and salary increase letter
- payslips from June 2005 through March 2006
- bank statements for both current and savings accounts from AUgust 2005 through March 2006
- summary page showing timeline since arrival and summary of wages to date.

My supervisor had written a letter in support of my application, but went on holiday before giving me a signed copy to include. It was very nice of him to write it though!

I had written a letter to my MP a couple of weeks ago about the new rules and lack of clarity on how long HSMP holders would receive for extensions. She wrote to the Home Office and got a long-winded letter back which she sent along to me. It really did not address the concerns I raised at all, but I do appreciate that she took the trouble to pass along my concerns.

I will let everyone know the outcome of my FLR!
