Extention of Tier-2 General visa

Iam going to extent my Tier-2 (General) visa next year (I have got three years work permit visa). I would like to get some advice if I need to prove my English language skills again, even though I have already provided my English language ability (by passing required IELTS test) in my first application. Thank you for your help in advance.
