De facto Spouse Visa - Help Needed!

Hello All,

I have dual citizenship in Ireland and Australia. I met my boyfriend in Ireland at the start of 2007. We have been living together since last September. We are both interested in moving to Australia towards the end of this year. We have alot of documentation (joint bank statements, joint rent receipts, bills, car insurance documents, concert tickets, boarding passes, etc.) so we can prove that we have been in a serious relationship.

After some research, we discovered that we are eligible for a defacto spouse visa. We would be most grateful if anybody who has any relevant information or who has been through this process or is currently going through it would provide us with advice on applying for this? Also a timeline etc for applying for the defacto spouse visa?
