Getting spouse deported?

Post by shak2088 » Tue Nov 02, 2021 10:50 pm

if i report to the home office that me and my wife are separated will her visa get cancelled and she will get deported?

We barely lived together two months after she arrived in the UK in July. In September she went to visit her sisters and then suddenly cut off all contact with me and has no intention of coming back. I feel i have been cheated and want to get rid of her asap.

All you can do is report the state of your marriage or relationship to HO, they decide what to be done or not, it does not mean automatic deportation for her.
Beyond reporting there is nothing more, even you don't get updated of the steps or plan of action (or not) of HO.

Falsely accused of domestic abuse by wife

Post by shak2088 » Tue Feb 15, 2022 7:41 pm

My wife arrived in the uk on a spouse visa in july 2021. We stayed together two months and there were no problems between us. Then she wanted to visit her sisters and brother in another city and i allowed her to go for a week.

Cut long story short, she never came back and her siblings claimed i caused her to be mentally ill by saying something to her on the phone which is complete nonsense. She left our home perfectly normal and suddenly gets mentally ill while staying at her siblings. Didnt make sense.

I went to see her but was not allowed to sit with her for more than a few minutes. She got dragged away by her sister and they told me to leave.

I returned and prayed for her recovery as i thought this illness might be genuine. But no one was updating me on her health from her family. Then a few weeks later i found out she has found a job in her sister’s workplace. Then I finally caught on she was faking it and using this illness as domestic abuse to apply for indefinite leave to remain in the UK.

Because she is working surely her domestic abuse claim under mental health must be weak because she is working. Also one of my relatives working there told me she is normal nothing wrong with her at all.

I have reported her to home office by email telling them everything that has happened how she deceived me and is accusing me of making her mentally ill and working at the same time.

I just wanted to know with no evidence of me actually abusing her, does she stand a chance in getting indefinite leave to remain by faking a mental illness?

Thanks

Getting further leave to remain in UK through other routes or not is left to HO/UKVI to determine. You have done your bit by reporting the situation and that's asmuch as you can do.
The let down of being used or wrong accused is what you probably feel and desire for vindication however there is little else you can do.
