Could somebody please check the below process for a family OCI application and advise if this is correct:
Statuses:
parent - Recently acquired British Citizenship , surrendering Indian passport, waiting to receive surrender form.
kid - Born in UK, has PIO at the moment.
Family Application via post for parent:
1) Need to fill PART A online
2) Print out showing the statue of above online application (part A) & payment receipt
3) Filled in Part B of the application form
4) Two photographs
5) PHOTOCOPY OF CURRENT BRITISH PASSPORT
6) original naturalisation certificate
7) original surrender certificate
Photocopy of first and last pages of Indian passport9) Postal Order for £175 addressing - HIGH COMMISSION OF INDIA
10) Self addressed stamped envelope to return OCI card
Family Application via post for kid: (Born in UK, converting PIO to OCI along with my OCI application)
1) Need to fill PART A online
2) Print out showing the statue of above online application (part A) & payment receipt
3) Filled in Part B of the application form
4) Two photographs
5) PHOTOCOPY OF CURRENT BRITISH PASSPORT
6) original birth certificate (as he was born in UK)
7) Postal Order for £ 94 addressing - HIGH COMMISSION OF INDIA
